Recently I embarked on creating the Out There cartoon completely using just the computer. This involved saying goodbye to the pencil and ink. The scanner will also become a dust collector if all goes according to plan. To successfully create the entire cartoon I needed to invest in a digital tablet - after much research I settled on the Wacom intuos 4.<br>In no time I am happy to report the switch from traditional drawing to the new digital age was relatively painless and enjoyable. I don't want this update to become a sponsors ad for Wacom but they do produce a great product if you're thinking about trying a tablet. For anyone who is interested in an alternative to mouse navigation then the tablet is also a great choice. I haven't touched the mouse since installing the tablet. In fact as I type this update the stylus pen is wedged between my first and second finger ready to click on the next command - try that with a mouse.<br>Welcome to all new subscribers since the last update - you know who you are. It's not easy giving out your email address knowing there are scumbags ready to unleash their crap into your mailbox - so I appreciate your trust in subscribing to Out There cartoons.
